Cell Phone Policy

The use of electronic devices that ring or generate other audible noise or the use of cell phones for initiating calls or for conversations is not allowed in the Library. Phones/pagers, etc. must be turned to silent mode while in the Library.  Users receiving calls or who need to initiate conversations on cell phones, walkie-talkies, and other devices may go outside the building at the front or back entrance for that purpose.

All electronic equipment accessing sites that generate sound require the use of headphones and the volume level must be set low enough that it cannot be heard by others.

Electrical cords on approved items must be kept out of aisles and cannot in any manner create a tripping hazard.

Patrons refusing to follow this policy, after appropriate reminders, will be subject to the disruptive behavior policy and will be asked to leave the building.
